Virgin Media is investigating launching a new electronic programmes guide (EPG). This is good news (consumers desparately need a new way of browsing VOD and broadcast content). However, this is likely to take a couple of years.

Apparently, Virgin is planning to use a scrolling bar system that will be able to show on demand content and broadcast content, on the same page. Again, good news; users are increasingly drawing less distinction between the two.
